Micaela Schiff, LCSW
Licensed Psychotherapist, LCSW
Micaela understands that everyone’s journey in therapy is unique. While starting therapy can feel intimidating, she is committed to fostering a compassionate, nonjudgmental atmosphere for all her clients. Micaela emphasizes building individualized and collaborative relationships, recognizing that “one size fits all” does not exist in therapy. To support clients in times of stress and uncertainty, she draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to their needs.
Micaela has a passion for working with adults and couples. She often incorporates artistic and writing tools into treatment, offering creative ways for clients to process their thoughts and emotions. Micaela is also passionate about providing trauma-informed care, with specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
She understands that while there is no single formula for healing—whether from personal loss, trauma, or major life transitions—creating a safe space for clients to process distressing experiences is essential to their recovery.
Using a strength-based approach, Micaela encourages clients to access their inner resilience and identify opportunities for growth. Her goal is to help clients find moments of “solid ground,” empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and stability.
